No.01Trades and building
“Single Line”
Coastline Electrical · Electrician, Joondalup WA
Electricians draw single-line diagrams to show how power moves through a house. This site borrows that drawing and lays it along the northern coast horizon: one fine copper line threads every page, labelling circuits, steps and suburbs.

No.02Hospitality
“Morning Light on Limestone”
Saltbush Coffee House · Café and brunch, Fremantle WA
A café that opens at sunrise and closes mid-afternoon, set like a printed local food magazine. A masthead, folios and captions under every photo, a sun-path dial for the opening hours, and footnotes for the native pantry.

No.03Health and beauty
“Low Light, High Shine”
Halo Hair Studio · Hair salon, Cooks Hill NSW
Where every other salon on the street is cream and airy, this one is the studio after dark: charcoal walls, brass hardware and editorial light on the hair. Colour levels become the numbering system and prices are set like a menu.

No.04Health and beauty
“Full Range”
Kinetic Physio & Pilates · Physiotherapy and Pilates, New Farm QLD
Physios measure progress in degrees. Each page opens at 0 degrees and steps through a goniometer dial until the footer lands at 180, full range. Pale timber, sage and one jacaranda accent keep the clinic warm rather than clinical.

No.05Health and beauty
“Before We Start”
Northside Dental · Family dentist, Belconnen ACT
A good gentle dentist stops and explains before anything happens, so the site does the same. It is paced like the quiet minutes before an appointment, with plain-English margin notes for every term and a week of opening hours drawn as light.

No.06Hospitality
“The Late List”
Ember & Vine · Wine bar and restaurant, Fitzroy VIC
The truest document in a wine bar is the list behind the bar at ten o'clock: handwritten, circled, crossed out. The whole site is that list after dark, lit from below by the fire, with torn dockets and notes in the margins.

No.07Professional services
“The Ledger Edition”
Ledger & Lane · Accountants, Norwood SA
An accounting firm published like an independent magazine printed on ledger paper. Green-ruled pages, a red-pencil audit tick for every included item, double-ruled totals and footnotes dry enough to prove the firm is human.

No.08Trades and building
“Laid in Lifts”
Ironbark Builds · Custom home builder, Margaret River WA
Rammed earth is built in lifts, one compacted layer at a time, and the bands stay visible for the life of the house. Pages stack as earth-toned strata annotated with a builder's dimension strings, with the low South West sun moving across them.

No.09Real estate
“The Harbour Folio”
Harbourline Property · Real estate agency, Mosman NSW
Homes presented the way a private press presents a limited edition: numbered plates in sandstone mounts, printer's marginalia, and addresses withheld until you ask. Nothing is stickered or shouted. The confidence is in what is left out.

No.10Retail and online stores
“Brown Paper, Green Door”
Wren & Willow · Homewares and gifts store, Hobart TAS
Everything at this shop ends in a parcel: brown paper, twine and a sprig from the garden, carried out through a deep green door. The shopfront becomes the header and footer, and the parcel becomes the graphic language, down to swing tags for every price.

No.11Retail and online stores
“Sun-Bleached Contact Sheet”
Saltwater Swim Co. · Swimwear label, Byron Bay NSW
A store laid out like a contact sheet from one summer, left on the dashboard until the colours went soft. Every photo sits in a film frame with edge codes, and each colourway is shown as a fade strip from new to sun-bleached.
