Offcuts from larger Huon pine pieces are too good to waste, and these little spreaders are what they become. The timber's natural oil makes it a good companion for butter and soft cheese.
Light enough to post anywhere in an envelope-sized parcel, which makes them a favourite with mainland gift buyers.
