Gift wrapping and hampers
The last thing we do, and the first thing they see
Wrapping is free on every piece, in the shop and online. It is how Clare likes to finish things: plainly, carefully, with something green from the garden.

On the wrapping bench
Four steps, no glossy paper
No ribbon, no cellophane, no tissue in six colours. Just materials that look good, feel good and can go in the recycling afterwards.
- 1
Plain brown paper
Folded with sharp corners. Fragile pieces are padded first with crumpled paper, never plastic.
- 2
Natural twine
Crossed both ways and knotted on top, easy to untie and keep.
- 3
A sprig of something
Eucalyptus, rosemary or tea-tree, depending on the week. It travels well.
- 4
A handwritten tag
Add a gift message at checkout and Clare writes it by hand. Prices never go in the parcel.
Ready to send
The Salamanca morning hamper
Three of the pieces people buy most, packed together in brown paper and twine: an ash glaze mug, an oatmeal linen tea towel and a bush tea-tree candle.
Want something different? Clare will build a hamper to your budget from anything on the shelves.
