How the CDBS works
How bulk billing works, in three steps
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is an Australian Government scheme that helps families with the cost of basic dental care for kids.
Step 1: Check if your child is eligible
Services Australia decides eligibility. It covers children aged 0 to 17 who are eligible for Medicare and whose families receive certain government payments, such as Family Tax Benefit Part A.
Step 2: Bring their Medicare card
Bring your child's Medicare card to the appointment and let us know you'd like to use the CDBS.
Step 3: Eligible treatment is bulk billed
For eligible children, eligible treatment is bulk billed. Benefits are capped over two calendar years, so ask us any time about what's covered.

Not eligible?
Every child is still welcome here
If your child isn't eligible for the CDBS, they're just as welcome. Ask us about fees when you call to book, and we'll happily explain them.
