Treatments
Six kinds of care, each explained before we begin.
From a child’s first check-up to replacing a missing tooth, this is what we do and what each treatment involves, in plain English.
Check-ups and cleans

The regular visit, done gently.
General and preventative dentistry is the heart of a family clinic: a regular check-up with a dentist and a professional clean with a hygienist1. For most health funds, check-ups and cleans are no-gap2.
What happens, in order
We catch up first
How have things been? Any sensitivity, worries or changes in your health? We listen before we look.
A careful check
The dentist looks over your teeth and gums and tells you plainly what they see, good news included.
A gentle clean
Your teeth are cleaned and polished, and we explain each part before we start it.

Children’s dentistry
Small patients, a gentle first impression.
Children are welcome in our family clinic. We keep their visits calm and unhurried, explain things in words that make sense to them, and show them what we are doing before we do it.
What happens, in order
Arrive and settle in
There is no rush. Your child can sit with you and get used to the room first.
We show, then we do
We explain each step in simple words and show your child what is happening before we start.
A word with you after
We tell you what we saw and how to help at home between visits.
Clear aligners

Straightening teeth with clear aligners.
Clear aligners1 are a series of removable, see-through trays that gradually move teeth. We start with a conversation about what you would like and whether aligners suit you, then explain every step and the cost before anything begins.
What happens, in order
A first conversation
We listen to what you would like to change and check whether aligners suit your teeth.
A plan, explained
If they do, we explain how treatment works, what it involves day to day, and the cost.
Regular check-ins
We see you along the way to check progress and answer any questions.

Dental implants
Replacing a missing tooth, one careful step at a time.
A dental implant1 is one way to replace a missing tooth. It is a bigger treatment, so we take our time: a thorough assessment, a clear plan, and an honest talk about the alternatives and the costs before you decide.
What happens, in order
Assessment
We look at your teeth, gums and jaw, and talk about your health and what you would like.
Options and a plan
We explain whether an implant suits you, what else could work, and what each choice involves and costs.
Treatment, in stages
If you go ahead, treatment happens over several visits, and we explain each one before it starts.
Teeth whitening

Teeth whitening, with an honest chat first.
Whitening can lighten the natural shade of your teeth. Results differ from person to person, so we start by checking your teeth and gums and talking through what you can realistically expect.
What happens, in order
Check first
We make sure your teeth and gums are healthy enough for whitening.
Talk it through
We explain how whitening works, what it can and cannot change, and the cost.
Whiten, gently
If you decide to go ahead, we guide you through each step.
Emergency appointments
Same-day emergency appointments.
If you have a toothache, swelling, or a chipped or knocked tooth, call us as early in the day as you can. We offer same-day emergency appointments, and we will stay calm so you can too.
What happens, in order
Call us
Tell us what has happened. We will ask a few questions and look for a time that day.
Comfort first
At your appointment we focus on making you comfortable and explain what we find.
Plan what is next
If more treatment is needed, we explain the options before anything else happens.

Not sure which you need?
