Physio-led reformer classes, New FarmClinical Pilates, four to a class

Reformer Pilates run by physiotherapists, in classes of four at most. Rehab, strength and control in one, with a physio close enough to adjust every rep.

40°How a class works

Four reformers. Four people. One physio.

Big reformer classes are fun, but they aren't rehab. Ours are capped at four, so a physio can watch, cue and adjust each person through every exercise.

  1. 01

    An assessment first

Before your first class, a physio assesses you one on one and writes your program.

  2. 02

    Your program, not the room's

Everyone works on their own program, progressed as you get stronger.

  3. 03

    A physio, hands-on

Every class is run by one of our physios, close enough to correct and adjust in the moment.

  4. 04

    Four, never five

Capped at four reformers. Small enough to be personal, social enough to enjoy.

90°Getting started

Book into a class time that suits and start working through your program.

  4. Step 04 · 180°

130°Who it suits

Made for bodies with a reason to be here.

Clinical Pilates works best with a goal behind it. These are the people we see on the reformers most.

For runners

Strength that keeps you running.

Reformer work builds the hip, trunk and calf strength that running alone doesn't, so the kilometres sit easier on your body.

For back and neck pain

A steadier back for desk-heavy weeks.

Slow, precise strength and control work for the spine and shoulders. A good partner to hands-on physio when pain keeps returning.

After surgery

The bridge between rehab and normal life.

Once your surgeon and physio give the go-ahead, the reformer lets us load a new knee, hip or shoulder gradually and safely.

Pregnancy and postnatal

Gentle strength before and after birth.

Programs shaped with our women's health physio, with pelvic floor and core work that respects where you're at.

150°Questions

Before your first class.

Still unsure if it's for you? Call and talk it through with the front desk.

Do I need Pilates experience?

None at all. Your initial assessment covers the basics, and your physio sets your program at the right level from day one.

Why is an assessment required?

So your program fits your body and any injury history. It's what makes this clinical Pilates rather than a general fitness class.

How many people are in a class?

Four at most, on four reformers, with a physio running the class.

Can I claim it on private health?

Some funds cover physio-led Pilates and some don't. Check with your fund, and ask us for the details they need.

I'm injured. Is that OK?

That's what it's built for. Tell us about the injury at your assessment and we'll program around it.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, fitted clothes you can move in. Bare feet or socks on the reformer.

170°Book an assessment

Your spot on the reformer starts with one assessment.

Call the front desk or send an enquiry. We'll book your assessment with a physio and find a class time that suits.
